Dublin Christmas Market

Image

The Christmas market is on! It’s being held on George’s Dock (IFSC) until the 23rd of December, from noon (weekends:10am) until 8pm.
You will be able to enjoy loads of nice food (crepes, sandwiches, falafels,…) and
have a warm drink with your friends.
Out of ideas for Christmas presents? You will find hand-made jewelery, scarves and hats, toys and even picnic baskets (not that it is the season…).
Children will love it too thanks to the beautiful carousel and the giant slide!
So if you’re tired of doing the same things every weekend, go step into the Christmas atmosphere! Entrance is free.

Dublin fun facts

When the temperature goes up to 15°, people melt.

Everyone has some Guinness head on their upper lip.

Try and watch a Dublin girl walk with 15cm high heels on the paved roads…

Most people are drunk after 5pm.

You can slap an Irish girl’s butt without getting punched in the face (I’ve tried).

A pint never comes alone.

Time notion: you can show up at work late and hung-over, it’s allright.

Pubs are always bigger than you would think from the outside.

We call all men “your man” and all girls “your one” (???)

Hi Folks!

OMG, after about 4 hours struggling with my host and WordPress, my blog is finally online!
My project is to tell you all you need to know about Dublin, adding of course some fun stuff such as pub talk and crazy stories. I still need to figure out how it works (dude, technology drives me crazy…) but as soon as I do, I’ll do my best to inform and entertain!
See you very soon on What’s up Dublin!!!
